Melancholy Messages

I used to struggle with posting melancholy messages on this blog.

After all, my handle is allthingslightinautism.

Over the course of five years, I have matured into this process and have realized that experiencing melancholy is part of the light; it's that psychological piece that makes our light stronger and more radiant.

Our family's greatest progresses together often start from spaces of discomfort, fear, grief, hesitation, and worry first. The joy that shines out of us when progress is made is always an expressive reflection of growth that blossoms from out of the seeds of our family's pain.

As we walk through this maze of life together, may we always clutch each other's fingers tightly at the turn of every blockade that keeps us from realizing our higher potential!
