Silver lining: it could have been much much more.

Fortunately, said parents rejected their original quote of $1200 made by some other dooooodah because they know enough about the home repair industry, nonverbal communication and LIIIIIIEEEEES to know when they are getting handled.

That industry, man (wo—they)!!!!!!; they be scandalous on them unknowing parents in need of a desperate fix!

Had said parents not known, they woulda dropped the $1200.

They can’t have their child sleeping in a room with a cracked window.
