Have you ever backed your car into your husband’s parked car?

I HAVE!!! Twice!!!!

It was 2016.

Both times in our own driveway.

“But Heidi Marie Ochoa?!!! This post doesn’t seem to have anything to do with autism.”

Oh….but it does!!!!!

Let me explain.

In the first four years of Dublin’s life, he did not sleep for more than two hour increments. He wasn’t safe enough to be by himself during the hour increments in between, as he was (and still is) into risky behavior like jumping off his bunk bed or kitchen counters or chucking our mason jars onto the floor.

During this lengthy blip of my life, I was a walking accident just waiting to crash.

And I did crash; literally!

On the road,

into sliding glass doors,

and in conversations!!

Pretty sure my neighbors and friends thought I was a jittery-over caffeinated wreck.

Be very, very jealous.
