A Note for Anti-Maskers

You who call maskers weak,

sheep,

arbiters of the liberal agenda.

You are not only telling me that you don’t read legitimate research.

You are not only telling me that what it is you listen to is sound bites of medical research that are taken out of context and mass marketed for you who do not want to take the time to read a 30-40 page article with real data.

You are not only telling me that your ego is more important than the herd in which you claim to be helping build immunity.

You are telling my son Dublin, and others like him, who don’t understand what is going on and can not wear a mask and who do not understand social distancing that they can not go outside, go on the playground, go to the beach, go to school, go anywhere, for that matter,

for a very long time.

When disabled children get sick, they lose weeks of therapy.

When children who can’t communicate get sick, they get violent with their family and with themselves because they don’t have the means to talk about their symptoms and pain.

When children with anxiety get sick, they have more panic attacks.

When parents of children with disabilities get sick, they can’t protect and care for them.

Therefore, it is our family’s opinion that anti-maskers be weak, sheep, arbiters of only their own selfish agenda.

Individuals who aren’t willing to take charge, stand on the front lines with proper equipment to support the physical and mental health for those who physically and mentally can’t do it for themselves.

If we were Generals organizing soldiers for combat, we would not promote soldiers to the battlefield who weren’t doing everything in their power to protect their community.

As Generals of our home, we will not promote individuals to family who aren’t doing everything in their power to protect our community, our family, our son.
