Forts

"Hey boy, you have to move or else you are gonna hurt!!!" the other boy says to the boy covering his ears, as the other boys prepare to tear down the lego-fort at the play ground.

Your boy keeps covering his ears and you're not really quite sure how to intervene.

You pause.

You watch.

You pause and watch the lego-fort collapse, despite the other boy's efforts to help.

Legos start to fly past your little boy's ears.

He has frozen and in some ways you have to.

You duck, lean in and grab your little boy's hand, rescuing him to safety. You realize that pausing and watching your boy in the forts just might be your forever-until-you-die occupation.
