It takes a village to help a child with typical needs.

It takes a town to help a child with extra needs.

The TEACHER TOWN that takes care of my King in his autistic preschool love him thoroughly and honestly.

They carry him. They hold his hand. They melt over his daily perfections.

When the king hits, screams, or bites, they show concern--not judgement.

When the king can't draw, can't write, can't hold items, they gently place their hands over his and help him until his hands understand what they are supposed to do.

They give him gentle reminders over and over again because they believe that one day his mind and body will synthesize their information if he is exposed to it enough. 

They notice subtle and radical changes in his growth.

They notice subtle and radical changes in our growth as parents.

Hearts like these deserve CONSTANT public recognition!
