Simulacrum

DISNEYLAND, 

the ultimate simulacrum,

the greatest imitation of all imitated worlds,

flips our family's autistic reality on it's head.

A playground where spinning in circles,

handflapping,

unexplained laughter, 

and random squeals is the norm.

Where the sensory seeker finds what he was looking for.

A hyppereal haven, allowing us moments to just be...together.

No therapy. No worries for tomorrow. 

A hyperreal haven in which our family creates another kind of real with each other.

...and we are more than okay with the way this imaginary world permeates our consciousness.
