Screams

Screams are just another form of communication.

Contrary to popular belief screams are an act of confusion, frustration, fear.

Not just defiance.

A child who screams is not always just acting out.

He may be confused. "Why can't I get this toy out of this box?"

He may be frustrated. "My hands don't work that way." My motor dexterity isn't developed yet.

He may be scared. "No one seems to understand me right now."

So....when my King screams, please don't roll your eyes, glare, or whisper.

You may catch me on a bad day.

When I might be confused. "Why are these people at the grocery store so ignorant?"

When I might be frustrated. "My hands, my motor dexterity are feeling overdeveloped!"

When I might be scared. "No one seems to understand me right now, no matter how loud I scream!"
