Naming Dogs

The King thinks our dog’s name is Spinach Come.

The King also thinks other dog’s names are Spinach Come.

We are so completely pleased that the King is applying what he hears to his vocabularly list!!!!

As any good parent would not, we are not teaching him Spinach’s real name because there are some cutisms that you just don’t really want to rush your kids to unlearn.

Spinach, incidentally, gets very confused by this because when Dublin says “Spinach come!” he usually wants Spinach to get off his favorite cushion on the sofa.

The time will come my dear, Spinach!!!
