Sometimes on the playground, 

I want to tell that 3 year old stranger who can have a full blown conversation,

"Listen, you are so adorable--like so adorable!" [affirmation]

"Could you do me a favor and practice your silent meditation skills? You know like shut the fuck up for a minute? It's just you are depositing a whole lot of fear and uncertainty in this stranger's cabeza, turning this lovely sunny afternoon into a reason to crawl into my closet, suck my thumb, twirl my hair, and rock back and forth in fetal position." [begging request]

Yah. Yah. Yah. I know this mama needs to grow up!
