Big Therapists, Big Struggles
Of the approximate thirty therapists who we have worked with in the last three years, we've observed that some therapists become therapists because they want to help families with little developmental struggles.
It's legible in their feedback.
It's legible on their nonverbals.
Occasionally?!??, from these therapists you get the feeling that your baby is that unruly kernel that pops ferociously in the water cooler conversations they have with their peers and their families.
The vibrations that sour a parent's chest, even at the end of the best kind of day.
Then there are therapists who obsess over families with BIG struggles.
Who treat the BIG struggles as human struggles.
Who take ownership over reducing BIG STRUGGLES,
one centimeter,
one inch,
one foot,
at-a-time.
They are problem solvers who want to uncrack answers about how we can help all humans survive.
Who bring joy to your child's home...and to their playground.
BIG therapists handle families' BIG struggles...beautifully.
There JUST aren't enough BIG therapists.
